Mariposa is a short-sleeved open-camp shirt cut in a relaxed silhouette from our signature 100% Bemberg™ cupro by Asahi Kasei, made in Japan from regenerated cotton linter. Exceptionally soft, breathable, and fluid, the fabric falls lightly against the body with a distinctive silky hand and effortless drape.
Cut and sewn with French seams and finished with a chest pocket, Mariposa features an all-over composition of vintage butterfly and moth cards depicting Monarchs, King Swallowtails, Blue Morphos, Moma orion, Virgin Tigers, and other specimens. Together, they form a richly detailed natural archive that reveals more the closer it is observed.

Bemberg™ cupro is a regenerated cellulose fiber made in Japan by Asahi Kasei from cotton linter — the fine fibers that remain on the cotton seed after conventional cotton processing.
Exceptionally smooth and breathable, it has a soft hand and fluid drape that falls lightly against the body.
Asahi Kasei manufactures Bemberg™ using a closed-loop production system designed to recover and reuse materials used during fiber production.
